Job Summary:
The Institutional Retirement Service Representative facilitates the efficient operations of the of the Institutional Trust Operations department and serves as the day-to-day contact for Third Party Administrators / Record-Keepers
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor MATC web site and phone calls
- Respond to and resolve client inquiries
- Establish and review client accounts and the necessary documentation
- Work with fund companies to get accounts established quickly
- Monitor and process client account workflow
- Complete fund applications
- Coordinate meetings and agendas
- Conduct web-based demos
- Actively participate in client meetings or conference calls
- Document internal operating procedures
- Represent the company and its services professionally and with polish
- Address trading communication issues
- Familiarize your self with the other departments and roles
- Learn and understand regulatory and compliance issues related to client on-boarding
- Assist with reconciling accounts to meet statement deliverables
- Respond to auditor requests
- Perform data entry
- Become well versed in the MATC Trust system (TNS)
- Assist with asset transfers cross-departments
Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in a client support position required, retirement industry experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Interact with clients in a consultative way
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team
