Job Summary:

American Trust Retirement, is currently seeking an Operations Analyst to join the team. As the Operations Analyst, you will leverage your analytical skills to resolve client issues related to the functionality of the systems used in administering their plans.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Adhere to operating procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure all jobs are performed accurately and in a timely fashion.
Monitor Straight-Through Processing (STP) job outputs/notifications to ensure automation is achieving desired results. 
Troubleshoot and work within the Analyst team and other departments as necessary to resolve errors with Straight-Through Processing (STP) jobs.
Update Straight-Through Processing (STP) jobs using guidelines established and based on details supplied from within the Analyst team and other departments.
Oversee & communicate with multiple Trade Agent/Custodian Companies related to trading processes, trade rejects, internal/external system interaction, and external websites.
Ensure all trading files are transmitted within the appropriate established deadlines.
Manage the receipt of all trading files to ensure they are processed by the appropriate deadlines and that all activity is represented within Relius daily.
Manage the daily reconciliation process between the recordkeeping system and the Trade Agent/Custodian Companies.
Review assigned tickets in Salesforce to confirm all data required has been provided and identify next steps. 
Complete assigned tickets from Salesforce and fully documentation in detail steps reviewed, taken, & completed within the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Research service inquiries while seeing them to their resolution.
Testing of systems and processes to provide detail & report results within established deadlines.
Participate in issue resolution requests to assist in resolving with minimal impact to clients and the company.
Complete scheduled patching, maintenance, upgrades, for Relius & trading platform systems and web including other programs or processes that interact with these systems as scheduled by American Trust.  This includes weekends, evening, and holiday work schedules.
Complete system and web error prevention/resolution as identified by internal reporting/processes or by critical response systems (Text, Emails, Phone Calls) including extended workday, weekend, evening, and holidays.
Training of team members on the Relius system, procedures/processes, and Trade Agent/Custodian Company internal/external system interaction, and external websites
Other tasks as identified through system enhancements, custom process creation, and continued development.

 

Required Experience & Skills:

BA/BS preferred.  Equivalent experience will be considered.
8-10 years of related financial services operations experience.
4-5  years of technology experience preferred
Knowledge of ERISA Regulations and the applicable Internal Revenue Code is preferred
SunGard Relius Administration system experience required.
Running established Crystal reports knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of Relius Straight-Through Processing (STP) Task Scheduler & Job Queue required.
Possesses excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical skills.
Microsoft Excel @vlookups, formulas, & table proficiency preferred.

 

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 base salary, based on experience, plus eligibility to participate in company’s bonus program.
